Buy a Ball
Are you looking to buy a ball or mat? Exercise balls are no fad. Exercising with an exercise ball has been proven to assist in strengthening core musculature. So, if you are looking to buy a ball they're also much less expensive than they were years ago. From an economical point of view they are cheaper than a bench, yet can be used in place of a bench. They take up little space and are easily stored.
Try adding some ankle weights, dumbbells and resistance bands to your exercise ball routine too. I include some suggestions on each exercise page. When you buy from Amazon through these links, a few cents from each purchase is collected and used to host this site.
Available in five sizes to fit users from 4 feet, 7 inches tall to 6

The only resistive exercise bands endorsed by the American Physical
Therapy Association (APTA). Ideal for building upper and lower body
strength for rehabilitation or fitness. Whether building strength after
shoulder or knee surgery or improving athletic performance, our bands,
tubing and corresponding resistance exercise programs can be easily and
economically used for any exercise program. The progressive resistance
of our products parallels the basic concepts of building strength and
mobility. As each level is mastered, the resistance can be increased
with ability. The use of elastic resistance rather than weight-bearing
exercises minimizes pressure on the joints and decreases the
possibility of incurring other injuries. They can be used while
traveling, sitting at home or even in the office. Uses for the
Thera-Band Bands include: exercise, gym, balance, fitness, birthing,
yoga, pilates, and stability and resistance.
"BOSU" is an acronym for "both sides up".
This version of the Bosu is appropriate for everyone from elite
athletes to kids to weekend warriors trying to stay in shape, the Bosu
balance trainer helps you strengthen and coordinate several major
muscle groups, including the muscles you don't see. The Bosu targets
your core muscles--the muscles around your abdominal and back
area--while you perform a host of different workouts, from squats and
bicep curls to lateral shoulder raises and hip extensions. As a result,
you not only gain strength, trim, and tone, but also improve your
balance and coordination along the way. In addition, Bosu training
helps strengthen the mind, with thoughtful movement that requires the
participant to not only be physically involved, but also "here and
present" with the mind fully engaged. By combining physical and mental
focus, Bosu training will boost your performance across a wide
continuum of activities, including sports, recreation, and daily
tasks.
