Are you looking to buy a ball or mat? Exercise
balls are no fad. Exercising with an exercise ball has been
proven to assist in strengthening core musculature. So, if you are
looking to buy a ball they're also much
less expensive than they were years ago. From an economical
point of view they are cheaper than a bench, yet can be used
in place of a bench. They take up little space and are easily stored.

Exercise Balls
Available
in five sizes to fit users from 4 feet, 7 inches tall to 6 feet, eight
inches tall, the Thera-Band Exercise Ball is ideal for physical
therapy, yoga, Pilates, and/or for general core strength training. The
Thera-Band Exercise Ball comes with a guide poster detailing 24
exercises to help you get started, as well as two plugs and an
inflation adapter. The ball can be inflated with a standard pump (not
included).
This is a professional grade, burst resistant ball. It's a little more
expensive, but well worth the peace of mind if you are on the heavy
side, pregnant, or lifting weights. Thera-band has an excellent

Why should you be concerned about exposure to Phthalates? Because

phthalate plastizers found in consumer products. Common plastics, such
as pvc foam used in typical yoga mats can contain 10% to 60%
phthalates. Phthalates migrate to the surface of the mat over time and
use which increases phthalate concentration on the yoga mat surface.

levels and far exceed the strict European phthalate
standards.
